Britt's Story

Britt Nolan Hoss, of Moore, went to be with our Lord and Savior in heaven on Saturday morning, April 11, 2015 after a valiant battle with cancer. He died peacefully in his home with his wife, children, grandchild and father by his side. Britt touched many lives with his gentle spirit and positive outlook on life. Britt was born Sept. 19, 1968 at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He grew up in the Midwest City/Del City area and attended Midwest City High School. Britt has been a resident of Moore for the past 23 years. Britt was self-employed and owned a successful courier business, serving Oklahoma City for over 30 years. Britt is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Hoss; devoted children Bryce and Kaydee Hoss, Broc Hoss, Brooklin Hoss; one grandchild, Lillee Marie Hoss; his father Phillip Hoss; his mother Judy Higginbotham; his brother Todd Hoss; his sister Crystal Hoss and countless other loving family members, mentors and friends. Britt lived bravely and courageously with his diagnosis, In many ways inspiring and teaching everyone he came in contact with. He was determined to fight this disease and win. He did win. We take comfort in knowing that Britt is with his Creator, and that he is at peace. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Moore Funeral and Creation 400 SE 19th St. in Moore on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from noon to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Moore, 301 NE 27th St. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2301 E.
