Charles "Charlie" Hollis Davis, 77 of Moore, OK was born on April 21, 1932 in Forman, Arkansas and passed away to be with his heavenly Father on January 11, 2010. Charles was a long time member of The Church of Christ. He enjoyed working and helping his church family. He worked for Flanco, KF Industries and AOP as a QC Supervisor and owned C.D. Grinding. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and watching football. His first love was to his family especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Dortha; Son, Mike Davis and daughter, Lynn "Pat" Neff and husband Paul all of Moore; Grandchildren, Mandy Pfeil and husband Larry of Los Vegas, Nevada and Brandon Neff and wife D'Arcy of Enos, OK; 4 great grandchildren, Veronica "Roni", Corrigan, Grady and Sidnee; brother, Bill Davis and wife Daisy; 2 nieces, Kay Charles and husband Mark and Connie Seba; 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Cleo Davis and Stepmother, Minnie Davis. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Moore Church of Christ, located at 2827 Larkspur Lane in Moore, Oklahoma. With Evangelist Matt Trent and Evangelist Allen Bailey officiating. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma. Submitted by family
