Connie's Story

Connie Jo (Davis) Dwiggins passed away June 14, 2014, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 9, 1955, to Lawrence and Nadine Davis in Oklahoma City.  Connie spent most of her life working for the Dean McGee Eye Institute, where she was known for her love and dedication to her patients. Connie will be remembered by her family and friends for her dedication to her children, her loyal friendship and her feisty sense of humor. Connie loved her Sunday school class and bible study group, which provided her immeasurable comfort during her extended illness. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Welcome Davis, and her brother, Raymon Davis. She is survived by her mother, Nadine Davis of Moore; her children, James Craig Perry (Jessica) of Edmond and Casey Leigh Bottoms (Curtis) of Edmond; her grandson Benjamin James Perry; and her sister Terrye Marlar (Cliff) of Moore. Services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18 at Moore Funeral & Cremation, 400 S.E. 19th Street. Burial will follow at the Moore Cemetery at 800 S.W. 4th Street.
