Dorothy Lee Carter, 81, of Moore, passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014. She was born Jan. 11, 1933, in Oklahoma City, to Robert and Anna Sebree. Dorothy enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and going to the lake. Her first love was spending time with her family. Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Jackie Neece, Janet Blackwood and husband Jack and Jo Barnhart and husband Wayne; two sons, Jimmy Carter and Jeff Carter and wife Deanna; grandchildren Albert Neece Jr., Stephanie Harper, Angie Davis, Jason Carter, Melissa Smith, Crystal Lorenz, Christopher Carter, Jenni Blackwood, Bruce Blackwood, Benny Blackwood, Terry Moore, Sheri Speaks, Jacquelin Janousek, Drew Carter, Caleb Carter and Aleaha Carter; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Sebree, Donald Sebree and Harlan Sebree; five sisters, Louise Shemwell, Mary Bordwine and husband Gerald, Karen Cagle and husband Tim, Charlotte Kendall and Debra Casey. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Carter, one son, Jerry Carter; son-in-law, Albert Neece Sr.; three brothers, Robert Sebree, Allen Sebree and Earl Sebree Sr.; and two sisters, Lily Mae Sebree and Del Athey. Funeral Services were Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the Riverlife Church of God in Moore. Interment followed at Resthaven Memory Gardens om Oklahoma City. Services were under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.
