Elderine's Story

Elderine Perry Hoipkemier, 83, of Moore, went to her heavenly home on Jan. 21, 2015. She was the second of three daughters born to Loyd Clyde and Louie Josephine (Berry) Perry. She was born April 30, 1931, in Pauls Valley. Elderine was a 1949 graduate of Pauls Valley High School. She attended East Central State College in Ada, where she met the love of her life, Dale Sandifer Hoipkemier. They were married July 6, 1951. Elderine was a homemaker, seamstress, den mother, Sunday school and missions teacher, and church secretary. Elderine was preceded in death by her parents and one son, James Michael. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dale; daughter, Paula and husband Tommy; sons Richard and wife Kathleen, Robert, and William and fiancee Annie; daughter-in-law, Carol; sister-in-law, Helen; sisters, Pauline and husband Ralph, and Mona; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; cousins; and friends. Funeral services were Jan. 24 at Lynlee Mae Chapel, 507 E. Main St., Moore. Graveside services immediately followed at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th St., in Oklahoma City. “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband praises her.” Prov 31:28. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore.
