She was a licensed beautician and worked in several locations before becoming a wife, mother and homemaker. She married Rufus Tilley at Ft. Cobb in Dec. 1943. Inez loved the Baptist church and was a member at Graceway Baptist Church at the time of her death. She rarely missed Sunday services and had read the Bible from cover to cover more than once. She loved her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had hundreds and hundreds of photographs. She traveled to Philadelphia, Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia and Maryland for the weddings of her grandchildren. She was 90 when she traveled to Maryland for the last wedding. She loved her computers. She had three. She thoroughly enjoyed sending computer generated greeting cards to her family as well as many of her friends. She sent e-mails everyday to many, many different people. She continued to send messages until a few weeks before her death. She, long ago, mastered the art of crocheting. She made many afghans for her large family. She was especially proud of the 301 newborn caps she made and delivered to the Moore Medical Center. Inez was one of thirteen children.
