Evelyn Veronica Hase, 85, of Moore, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014. She was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Milwaukee. Evelyn attended the First Baptist Church of Moore, where she was baptized on March 30, 2014. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and also polka, twist and line dancing. She also enjoyed listening to big band music, was an avid watcher of the Lawrence Welk show, going to the Brand Senior Center and visiting and socializing with friends. Evelyn loved her dogs Taco and Boo Boo. She retired from Publishers Mailing service in Wisconsin after 18 years of service. She is survived by her children, Robert Huntoon, John Huntoon and wife Kelly, Timothy Huntoon, and Laurie Martinez and husband Tony; two stepdaughters, Shirley Medrow and Mary Plant; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Huntoon and Ferdinand Hase; one brother, Bill Pine; and one sister, Alice Mills. Services were Monday Sept. 8, 2014, at the chapel of John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore. Burial is to take place in Wisconsin at a later date. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore.
