Gerard “Jerry” Anthony Herman, 56, of Moore, passed from this life Friday, Nov. 20, 2015. He was born July 3, 1959, in Buffalo, New York. Jerry was a member of St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church. During his life, Jerry worked as a truck driver and owned his own company, CMC Transportation for five years. He enjoyed boating at the lake, mudding and riding his Harley. He also enjoyed going to McDonalds visiting with his Breakfast Club, watching the Buffalo Sabres play hockey and taking his kids to the gun range. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Pizzuto. He is survived by his children Christie Herman, Chris Herman, Mark Herman and Courtney Herman; grandchildren, Christopher Nathan Herman, Jeremy Herman and Brianna Herman; brothers Tommy Pizzuto and John Pizzuo and wife Marg; sisters Martie Shannahan and husband Tim, Sandra Laffrado and husband David, and Mary Parcheta and husband Wally. A funeral Mass was held Nov. 24 at St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church, with Father Jack Feehily officiating. Services were under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.
