Gerry Morris Clink, 75, of Moore, died April 1, 2013. He was born Nov. 29, 1937, in Ada to Elmer and Mary Clink. Memorial services were April 6 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel in Moore. Gerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was excited about meteorology and studied aerography in the Navy for four years and was an aerographer’s mate. Gerry enjoyed writing, reading and never stopped learning. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, growing his own vegetables and herbs. Gerry was a mental health counselor at Catalyst Behavioral Services in Oklahoma City. He was a spiritual person and accepted others for who they were. He is preceded in death by his parents. Gerry is survived by his wife, Brenda M. Clink of the home in Moore; daughter, Shannon Johnson and husband Ingo of Moore; two sons, Scott Clink of Moore and John Clink and wife Carolyn of Wayne; four grandchildren, John Trevor Clink and Christina Clink, both of Wayne, and Gillian Johnson and Caio Johnson, both of Moore; brother, Joe Clink and wife Brenda J. of Oklahoma City. Services were arranged and directed by John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
