Gweneva Alberta Shelton, 63, of Oklahoma City, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014. She was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Oklahoma City, to Albert and Lora Lee. Gweneva loved to shop. She loved going to thrift stores and garage sales. Gweneva had a beautiful doll collection. Her first love was spending time with her family. Gweneva is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jim Shelton; two daughters, Regina Houze and husband Curtis and DeEtta Shelton; three sons, Harold “Andy” Brown, Jonathan Brown and wife Jana and Scott Shelton and fiancee Tiffany Albert; seven grandchildren, David Brown, Asa Houze, Leandra Houze, Carissa Griffith, Cameron Shelton, Kiah Davis and Kaden Davis; three great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Londynne and Orion; two sisters, Gwendy Erwin and Lisa Cawthon; and one brother, Timmy Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents and life-long friend, Jamie Montgomery. Funeral services for Gweneva were Dec. 20, 2014, at the All Nations Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City, with Pastor Wayne Stark officiating. Interment followed at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Services were under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.
