Jack William Lancaster, 68, died in his home Tuesday, Feb. 22. He was born Oct. 30, 1942 in Norman, and had been a resident of the Oklahoma City area for most of his life. He was passionate about the Oklahoma Military Academy where he made his fondest memories and lifelong friends. After graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps for four years. He had a long career in the information technology field, working for companies such as IBM, United Systems and the Mid-Del School Systems where he met his wife and soul mate, Annie, Lancaster, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sisters, Linda Reese and Becky Brooks and their spouses all of Norman, Gerrie Ann Gray of Edmond; his sons, Jack Lancaster of Broken Arrow, Scott Lancaster of Edmond, and Cory Lancaster of Oklahoma City, and their spouses; grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor, Caelin, Brady, Scotty and Kenny Lancaster, all who loved him and will miss him very much. Graveside services were at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, Feb. 25 under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore.
