Kandice Rene Edwards, 35, of Moore, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015. She was born May 11, 1980, in Oklahoma City, to Larry and Mary Spruill. Kandice was a member of Life Church, where she was also a member of the prayer team. Kandice enjoyed restoring old furniture, crafting and scrapbooking. She enjoyed being a nurse, especially working in the NICU unit at OU Children’s Hospital. Kandice was a great writer and enjoyed writing romantic poems for her family and friends. She could write a poem about anyone. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially Ethan, Caden and Asher. She is survived by her husband, Corey Edwards of the home; three sons, Ethan, Caden and Asher of the home; mother, Mary Munsey and husband, Andy of Norman; father, Larry Spruill of Oklahoma City; one brother, Jeff Spruill and wife, Charissa of Yukon; two sisters, Tina Pastran and husband, Ronny of Oklahoma City and Krystal Heltcel and husband, Robert of Moore; grandparents, James Bellah and wife, Linda of Oklahoma City, William Munsey and wife, Jackie of Topsham, Maine; and numerous other loving family members and friends. Funeral services were held Sept. 30 at Life Church in Moore. Interment followed at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. Services were under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore.
