Larry Richard Baker, 66, of Moore, passed away Dec. 15, 2014. He was born July 28, 1948 to Lester and Mary Baker in Oklahoma City. Larry liked to go hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially his grandchildren and OU football. 14 years ago Larry was given a second chance at life when he underwent a liver transplant. Larry heard his country’s call and served in the United States Marines. Most of all, Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Baker of Moore; two daughters, Lorie Freeman and Andy Konieczny of Arkansas and Jennifer Schantz and husband, Phillip of Moore; four grandchildren, Kara Freeman, Blake Baker-Freeman, Shelby Schantz, and Jaden Schantz; three great-grandchildren, Izabella Lyday, Mason Baker-Schantz and Zander Freeman; numerous other loving family members and friends. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014 at Lynlee Mae Chapel in Moore. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore.
