Text size

Margaret Ann Carlile, daughter of Dr. Tom and Glenda Carlile, was born and lived her entire life in Oklahoma City. Margaret graduated from Southeast High School and worked at McDonalds for over 20 years, receiving the Governor’s Commendation for outstanding achievement in employment in 2009. She was known and appreciated by fellow employees and customers alike. Margaret was a dedicated member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She loved to sing and won first place in a talent show sponsored by the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association. Margaret was an avid fan of OU football and OKC Thunder basketball. She loved her family, her friends, her church, her work, and her pets Boomer Sooner, her cat and Lucky, her dog. She is survived by her parents; her sister, Kimberly and husband Jay Williamson and children Ryane and Cooper; and sister, Stacey and husband Rob Shofner and children Jackson and Olivia, all of Tulsa. Margaret is rejoicing in heaven with her grandparents, uncles and nephew. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Southern Hills United Methodist Church choir, Ronald McDonald House or the charity of your choice. Services were under the direction of Moore Funeral and Cremation and were on Friday, April 17, 2015, with burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Moore American, Wednesday April 23, 2015
