Raymond's Story

Raymond “Buzz” McMillan, 67, of Moore, passed away August 18, 2015. He was born July 16, 1948 in Phoenix. Raymond enjoyed cars, especially Mopar. He enjoyed working on cars and rebuilt his first car when he was around 12 years old and that’s when he also purchased his first car. Raymond enjoyed guns and was a dedicated member to the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed playing dominos and pool. Raymond liked watching boxing and even got to meet Mohammad Ali. He also liked to watch TV, especially Star Trek, Crime Shows, RV shows, car shows and History channel. He heard his country’s call and joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict, where he was honorably discharged for services rendered to his country when he was called upon to do so. Raymond was self employed as a truck driver. He volunteered at the Salvation Army, VA hospital, and delivered meals on wheels. Raymond enjoyed helping veterans and giving them encouragement. His first love was spending time with his family. Raymond is survived by wife, Christine McMillan, of the home; one daughter, Andrea Jones, of Guthrie. He is survived by his wife Christine McMillan, a daughter, Andrea Jones and two grandchildren, Chris McMillan and Cat Jones. Funeral services were 11 a.m., Aug. 25, 2015 at the John M.
