Retha Mae Jenkins, born March 22, 1938 in McLoud, died March 2 in Midwest City. Retha was a member of the First Methodist Church of Dale. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cakes. Her favorite TV show was “Days of Our Lives.” If it was on, the telephone was off the hook. She was in property management most of her working career. She managed apartment complexes for the last 30 years. She also had been employed by C.R. Anthony’s and Bill Moore’s Steak House. Retha’s first love was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Clarence F. Jenkins of Moore; children, Glen Jenkins, Mary (Pepe) Padilla and Vickie (Henry) Chavarria of Alabama; brother, Billy Baber; sisters, Ann Flewallen, Sue Carsten and Gail Hatfield; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held March 5 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore.
