Saundra Leta Lawrence, 73 of Moore, OK, passed away June 15, 2016 after a brief sudden illness, with her family by her side. Saundra was born on June 24, 1942 in Oklahoma City to Herb and Elveta Judkins. She was the youngest of 3 children. She graduated from Capital Hill High School in 1960. She married the love of her life Ralph Lawrence, November 24, 1962. They honey mooned in the big town of Wewoka, OK. Saundra was an amazing hairdresser, she believed "The Higher the Hair, The Closer to God!" She retired after 30 years to enjoy her grandchildren. Family was always first priority in Saundra's Life. Her grandchildren Madison and Gage were her pride and joy! To Me-Me they were perfect! Saundra had such a zest for life and a great sense of humor. She could light up a room with her joy and laughter. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ralph Lawrence; son, Billy Lawrence, daughter, Kristi Benedetto and husband Steve; grandchildren, Madison and Gage Benedetto; sister, Charlene Ravens and husband Glen; and the Reaves family of Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Herb and Elveta Judkins and her brother, Bob Peak. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00AM, Friday, June 17, 2016 at Moore Cemetery in Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
