Walter C. Crick, 74, of Tuttle, died Wednesday, Jan. 26. Born May 5, 1936, in Hinton, Walter graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1954. He worked for Smith Grinder Grocery before he opened Crick’s Grocery and Feed Store in Moore in the 1960s. He went on to work for Warehouse Distributing in Oklahoma City until retirement in the late 1990s. He enjoyed his retirement by traveling and serving as assistant director for the local Good Sam’s Club. Walter was preceded in death by his son Walter Randall. He is survived by his wife Venita Rose, whom he married in 1957; sons Rodney and Mark; daughter Rhonda; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held Jan. 31 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore with interment following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
