Wanda's Story

Wanda Mae (Pogue) Davis was born March 20, 1928, to Bill and Vera Pogue. She passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Hershel Pogue, and twin sister, Faye Clifton. She also was preceded in death by her husband, William J. “Dub” Davis. Survivors include her daughters Kathy Sherga and Rilda Gordon and husband Johnny Gordon. She also has two surviving brothers-in-law, Kenny Noel of Washington State and Jr. Clifton of Ravia. Wanda has four granddaughters, Malisa (Gordon) Goucher and husband Chad of Phoenix, Tiffany (Gordon) Johnston of Norman, Morgan (Sherga) McGill and partner Kandice of Oklahoma City and Lindsay (Sherga) Nelson and husband Matt of Tulsa. Wanda also has numerous nieces and nephews and their families, as well as many precious friends. Wanda has nine great grandchildren, Paden, Peri, Presley, Honor, Hattie, Milan, Jax, Selah and Sophie. She loved them all so very much and was proud of each and every one of them. Services were 10:30 a.m. April 25 at the Chapel of Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th St. in Moore.
